Ensuring a reliable supply of quality contraceptives is crucial to the success of reproductive health programs worldwide. EngenderHealth and the USAID | DELIVER PROJECT produced a brief describing how two important tools—Reality Check and PipeLine—can be used together to strengthen reproductive health commodity security. ENGENDERING SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS IN CÔTE D’IVOIRE

EngenderHealth received a two-year grant from the Hewlett Foundation, the SSRDroits project, to field-test the operationalization of the combined Checkpoints for Choice and Users’ Guide package with policymakers, health service providers, and community stakeholders in Côte d’Ivoire. Participants at a stakeholder meeting shared their thoughts on the experience: “I am now comfortable with my colleagues and my partner. In addition to talking about SRHR, I can now impart knowledge while tailoring it to my audience. It is not just talking, it is demonstrating how to think and protect the rights of youth.” Read here.

ENGAGING MEN IN SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH AND RIGHTS, INCLUDING FAMILY PLANNING

EngenderHealth and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) have developed a new digital resource: Engaging men in sexual and reproductive health and rights, including family planning. This toolkit is designed to assist program designers or managers in constructively engaging men as clients of sexual and reproductive health services, as supportive intimate partners, and as agents of change to address gender norms in their communities.
