March 2, 2018— New York, NY—EngenderHealth, a leading international women's health organization, reaffirms its support today, the first anniversary of the She Decides movement. SheDecides, EngenderHealth, and our allies and partners will show solidarity on March 2 for a world where every woman and girl can decide what do with her body, her life, and her future—without question.

Access to modern contraception and safe abortion is a matter of life or death for millions of women and girls. EngenderHealth is working to ensure sexual and reproductive health services and rights to millions of women and girls in nearly 20 countries. EngenderHealth's mission is more crucial today than it has ever been. Attacks on women's sexual and reproductive health and rights continue to increase. In the United States alone, recent funding cuts and antichoice policies have set a sobering tone for the rest of the work.

The time is now for women and girls to decide their lives and their futures on their own terms.
